Terry,the earth is present at the chassis ,gas pipes and the power earth.I should also mentioned the leakage on the outside of the water unit cover(outside on the motorhome wall) is RUSTY.................Peter.
Is it the tank leaking or the over pressure valve leaking? The other tin ware is just steel not stainless so if the valve is leaking water into the inside of the covers they will rust and leave behind a rust stain.
No doubt if the tank is leaking onto the steel tinware the same thing would happen.
Just as an after thought, do you subject the heater tank to mains pressure? Or only pump pressure? Do you have a functioning pressure restriction valve on the mains inlet supply?
