Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning. No need for aircon the past 2 days which has been good but supposed to be getting cold again with snow at Stanthorpe. Thanks Bob.

Good morning all,
Cold [6*] at Julia Creek. Be warmer if the bloody wind would stop. Any good done by recent rains is being dried up by the wind.

"tanks" here---A late start today.
The outside temp at the Bunker is now 17 degrees and a nice sunny day with little wind.
A nasty incident yesterday. The lady next door to me (Bernie) had a fall on Saturday night and could not get herself upright again.
She lay all twisted up on the floor until a friend called to take her to golf at 11:00am on Sunday.

It took 2 ambulance crews and paramedics, plus a rescue crew from the Fire & Rescue, plus some of the Mines Rescue to get her out of the house and onto the ambulance to get her to the hospital. When she fell she damaged the same hip which was injured last Xmas. She had to have a lot of pain relief as her hip was displaced and the paras could not get the gurney into the room and had to lift her overhead to get her around corners and through the doorways.

The RFDS has just landed at the Dysart airport to MedEvac her to Mackay hospital for surgery on her hip.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Ahhh, the joys of winter in Warnambool. Coldest place I have ever worked. We erected some some cement silos and a batching plant in August, about 20 years ago. And the wind was certainly coming off the ice.
It is a beautiful and sunny day here on the Gold Coast. We have already reached our expected top of 22deg.
I hope everyone in the southern states is battened down ready for the wild weather they are tipping for today!
Cheers
