Stopped another night here at Pimba, was a beautifully warm day, last night wasn't as cold but still cool. Went to Woomera for a look around, what a sad sight that place is, the lady at the shop said there were only about 148 permanent residents in town. There are such great facilities there doing nothing, squash courts, bowling alley, tennis courts, swimming pool, theatre. So many boarded up houses and flats but the place is kept very neat and tidy. Jd the milk there was $3.40 (2 lts).This place is so busy all day, they come in waves and then at 4pm the mad rushers start to squeeze in Cvan parking at it's best Might stay at Hutchinson Memorial tomorrow night so may not have coverage. Got to Coober Pedy this morning, G had to find somewhere open to get a fuse thing as one wasn't charging the battery. ? Lovely and warm. Not too much traffic on the road at all. Heading out to Hutchinson Memorial but the locals disapprove due to all the shite and bush roses and they have every reason to be.

not even G man gets that far We decided not to head off today as the head wind had returned so we went for a very long walk, millions of tiny flies and bush roses as usual everywhere. Will head off tomorrow for fuel, water and a few scripts and some milk. Strange the ph and internet does what it wants to when it wants to??

Are you still at Coober Pedy?
We found leaving just on sunrise was the best way to avoid the headwinds.
You could get 2-3 hours in before they started.
