Wow, that is ambitious, I hope they are still trading under the same structure in 3 yrs time to honour any warranty claims. There is a mob advertising roof top solar at rather unrealistic prices that keep reappearing with a new name, you have to wonder just how many of these lithium drop in battery sellers will still be there when the problems start to appear.

LIfepo4 batteries of any description should come with a 10 years warranty, as long as they a have a good charge control system which you can control charge and discharge parameters yourself.

I'm still looking for a reliable system to charge from an alternator, or 240v outlet.

Tried drop in lifepo4 car batteries many years ago, but the heat and cold they experienced under the bonnet, killed them within 3 years and the simple BMS was useless. In my opinion and experience, to get proper service out of lifepo4, you need to control the cells yourself and not leave it to a standard off the shelf system, or internal controls as they have in drop in lifepo4. They are really expensive as well, compared to putting one together yourself, if you're capable or into doing it.

Er, yeah...
That only gives out 240v (wired in series)...

Maybe I should have said 2000 AAAs?
