I thought it looked fairly original, but cautiously restored. Saw a similar coach at the Cobb & Co Museum in Toowoomba many moons ago.
The argument I posted was that used by opponents of Stephenson's Rocket, the first steam passenger train.

It's related to the one in Toowoomba insofar as they were both 'recovered' from their resting place and restored in the early '80s by the same collector, Neville Locker, in Cooma. This one now needs TLC but it is not damaged - it is just a bit weathered.
