Martin, don't forget to keep a receipt for any vehicle running costs including rego and insurance. If you have a job to go to from the last place you stayed, vehicle costs getting there can be claimed as a tax deduction, the 70cents a km is added to income or something, so the refund is much greater. The catch is, you must have the next job booked before you leave, you can't claim travelling looking for work, only travelling to work already arranged.
There is a website some where that explains everything but I can't find the link at the moment.

We turned our bus around today as the winter winds start on and off then we'll have more protection for the awning. so bring it on.
We met new member Squidley this arvo too so look out 40 mile this is ozervnews, country!!! Really lovely bloke by the way.
Really liking our new position with the big front windows looking straight out to sea....................heck life just keeps getting better :D
Put up a clothes line between Bob n Bev's and us and put a sign up to pull in new blood for Happy Hour, just to make it even sweeter. We now have a good spot inbetween our rigs, so it's perfect for more people, we squeezed 16 people under our awning one Friday!!!

Thanks Bagmaker, much appreciated. At the moment its 5 or 6 bookings ahead :-) Two issues I can see. Lining up a spot where I can pick up work, and getting a break long enough to do a run to 40mile or Cleaverville!
The second one is the bigger issue! Will keep you all posted
