Does the arm and leg v rib represent a fruit machine v a real computer in $$ terms? If the same comparison is used for the two possible forms we could have had, the alternative human inference being the female version .... the rib model still costs an arm and a leg so we appear to have been duped on the original deal  As far as the rib version being not equal or as good as the arm and leg model :o ....... and you thought you had a problem argument regarding computer choices .... but in both cases the rib version looks set to take over the running of the world in general, not just the immediate world most males live in ;)

Is there a moral to this tale perhaps???? :D

The moral to the tale Terry, nowhere in the Bible does it say that Eve ate an 🍎 It refers to it as the forbidden fruit. :)

Actually an unknown, so much has been lost in translation over the yrs, maybe forbidden was actually prohibited and that could relate to prohibitively expensive if the comparative similarities are still in play. The Apple symbol has a piece bitten out of it, so they are cashing in on the whole Eve and forbidden fruit being an apple is an anchor for their brand .... saying this could be baseless might shake the confidence of fruit machine users .... but not likely, the advertising B/S has already done its job ;)

I rest my case. Imagine what Adam would have received if he was prepared to give up an arm and a leg instead of a rib!

Not going there Steve, you is on ya own if you want to walk such a dangerous path  The old gag about the similarity between marriage and hurricanes comes to mind though, lots of noise and banging but when they leave they take the house  No matter what, you are left with a crippling injury so might as well have given up the arm & leg in the first place and then we could have started out as the weaker sex ;)
