Bruce, I use Tapatalk to access this forum. Do you make any money from users clicking on the ads? If so, I’ll do a lot more clicking. [emoji3]

Lesley I wish!!!
Tapatalk put the money in their bank I'm afraid!
Really the money isn't a problem but I was just commenting that I wondered if it was justified at all.
I used to have some ads on here that did contribute but there was some who thought it wasn't justified either.
I'll look into re-introducing them when I get time.

Re: It's quiet here............
I think Farce Book and the like are suffering a severe down turn at the moment as well so I guess it will take a little while for some to wander back to the forums of old and find our offering and join.
I think it isn't a membership problem either but rather a participation problem and all forums suffer with that issue. I remember when I first joined the original CMCA forum it would be a week between posts sometimes, but when we got a bit of spark back into it we had some of the older crowd complaining about the amount of traffic ....
Do we need to look at topics that might get the silent majority active into posting and sharing their ideas and even just their support to show that the forum is still worth the effort involved.
Should I start doing more tech articles? Should we have more guides to free camping for those who are looking at venturing out for the first time or those looking at something outside the caravan park scene?

Some forums have ads for those who want to view at no cost and a premium subscription that for a small donation each qtr removes the ads, worth looking into?BruceS wrote: ↑Thu Aug 16, 2018 9:48 am Lesley I wish!!!

Re: It's quiet here............
When I collect my new drone on the weekend if Terry has not worn it out I might do some videos here in Crystal Brook and the at Mannum when I get home and see of Bruce can help me put them on so you can all critisise them LOL. Does 4K image so files might be too big. I look like I am stuck here for another couple of weeks as my mate is still not sailing too good. Tried to walk about 300M a couple of days ago and took him two days to recover to be able to leave his chair.
Terry can you get Marg to throw in a usb cord she knows works with the junsi so I can have another go at the log file.

Bugger Bruce, my finger was poised? [emoji17] When we are home I feel that we don’t have much to contribute but we enjoy reading the posts of others. We are heading to Europe for 3months next week but I doubt that is of much interest to the crew.BruceS wrote:Lesley I wish!!!
