I think nearly all forums are a thing of the past now.
Facebook, twitter and all the others ones have killed it.
Hurts me because all of those 'other' facilities are 98% designed to make the owners/shareholders millions simply by the exposure of all the ads. Take a look at Youtube now days? Nothing but endless ads.
Time to shut it down Lance?
It's getting harder to justify the $30 a month for what is gained.
Quite a few are happy just to PM others & post nil on the forum.
Might fire up my telescope & go watch the moon? Shit it's cold out there tho!!!

No mate, not suggesting a shut down at all, but your comments regarding other fields taking audience is close to the mark I reckon.
Over the last few weeks I've had PMs and coupla emails from members of CF making similar comments.
If you're happy to keep up the up keep ( ) keep things just as they are.

Maybe a "donate" button somewhere to a Paypal account would help with costs ?

Makes it hard whenyou do notdo FB and the other social forms. Use to be in many forums but down to two only now.

I look at the crap on the CF and the same idiots being prtected by the same old admin. Say something against their belief and you are slamed. Winter every thing slows down maybe as Dot said( not shaving the moon) but a get together and cook up.
