Gig saw

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Anyone else addicted to Wasjigs?
The picture on the box is never the picture you end up with... only a guide or hint. 😁 Usually the view in the opposite direction or a ‘what happened next’...
The actual picture:

What the box showed:

Ray I have one, the guy is pointing to the sign live entertainment tonight & the puzzle ends up being the waitress with her leg kicked up in the air & all the diners surprised, they are good to do.
My daughter in law has some 3D puzzles they are interesting to put together.

You could just about come to blows with someone that is a bit anal about making the puzzle look like the pic. I would go mental doing something different like that.

As you have no idea what the picture actually looks like, it takes a while to get it going.
Sometimes you can punt on some parts being the back view of characters in the box picture, but they don’t always feature in the final picture.
Did the one pictured in previous post recently: the same pub barroom, just 30 years later. As you can see, same characters (in the main) wearing similar clothing, but aged. Bar had been redecorated. Fireplace had been replaced with a large fish tank, exposed beam ceiling replaced with a mezzanine floor with lots of Young Things drinking cocktails.
Took us quite a while to finish that one!

Prior puzzle was a Vet’s waiting room. Box pic was the ‘before’ scene. Puzzle was the scene after someone arrived with a lion on a lead — pandemonium! 😃

Margaret did a few 3D puzzles, that was quite challenging, you need to look at the puzzle from each angle, then the piece to determine if that is the piece you are looking for .... after a while you get the hang of turning each piece around until it is showing the same image as the angle you are looking at the puzzle, then as you move around the puzzle, the image in the pieces changes till you find the one that has the same qualities as the spot where it needs to go ..... does the head in at first
