Gig saw
Finnaly completed, 1000 pieces 736 X 584, very difficult I have never had a puzzle where pieces fitted perfectly but were not correct & the only way you knew was slight colour tone difference.

Re: Gig saw
Blimey, I would never be able to do that, I don't have the patience. Do you pull it to pieces when you have finished or frame it?

Re: Gig saw
Nah, not into framing them Dot, certainly need patience, just put them back in the box, we have several collected over the years, do them again in a couple of years or longer, it's a good pastime if you don't feel like doing anything else.
They can give you a headache Wayne & you wonder why you are doing them for enjoyment, it's a fad thing, I mightn't do another one for twelve months or more, although I do have two 1000 piece puzzles that I have never done before waiting.

Re: Gig saw
Congratulations, it is a great feeling once you have mastered a difficult puzzle or found where that mystery piece goes that doesn't look like it belongs in that puzzle at all
We often pick up jigsaws from op shops or garage sales and we have cupboards full of them. Every so often they get an airing and we might do 2 or 3, then they go back in the box and back in the cupboard. Second hand ones are great, you never know if that piece you are looking for is missing or you just can't seem to spot it. I like doing the cartoon ones with the little men, can't remember who the cartoonist is but he is well known.

Re: Gig saw
Agree Bob, it's amazing how after a break from it or overnight, you are able to position 2 or 3 pieces straight away.
