Our maximum in Newcastle beneath 90% shade cloth today was 45.6 and still 27.6 degrees at 9:15pm.

the wind coming up from the south isn't cold, it's hot, but at least it's moving air, not as hot as that wind this afternoon though, it was from the west.

It was cold enough at Dromana Raena turned the heater on in Blaaack Max.
