With that much battery, could flick the V10 Triton and put an elec motor on the driveshaft and head off. It probably wouldn't need recharging for a very long time. Win win I reckon.

I didn't have to strip the engine down to find what might be causing the trouble, or have to strip it down to sort the problem ..... diagnosed and fixed without needing even remove a head ......
As for the electric drive idea ..... still on the back burner, depends how hard the wallet gets hit when we finally get on the road for our first trip. It would have to be hybrid anyway, too much weight involved in adding enough battery to get the distance, it can be a long way between charging stations in some places .....
