Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Re the chemo: I had a cannula permanently installed in each arm. They were replaced once a week to ensure sterility.
My arms looked like pincushions.
These days I have a self-healing “port” surgically placed under my skin above my left breast. Every time my chemo is due a specially designed companion needle is insrted through my skin to the self-healing pad on the port. The port feeds the chemo directly into my heart.
Much less painful and faster because the chemo is mixed into the larger quantity of blood
You're one tuff cookie Ray. Hope it goes well.

Yes and yes.
Our Thermie (dubbed The Sous-Chef😁) is used at least once a day. Often it is busy three times in the day.
Today we used it to make soup for lunch, a chicken dish for dinner and a vegetable puree for the greyhound girls.
I have even mixed a cake in it! 🏆 (Although my specialty is making any one of the Risotto recipes on Cookidoo, mainly when SWMBO wants a break from slaving over a hot Thermie.
😉😆
I can thoroughly recommend the Thermomix. After our fast-approaching train journey we plan to update the TM6 (as seen on MasterChef, although not credited) to the new model TM7. It’s quieter, safer (insulated cooking bowl), less imposing on the kitchen bench and has 20 different modes of usage. The Cookidoo computer-guided menus are easy to follow and failsafe. If you’re interested, just search the interweb for Thermomix TM7. If you don’t want to outlay the $$$ for a new one, there are lots of other people who will advertise s/hand TM6 models as they update.

Jenny has had a number of cannula installed, the last one was in her neck. I thing the plug and play connection is the next step if she has to go on dialysis, they have a special ward where they lay in bed and watch TV while their blood is flushed, 3 times a week ....

As Joh said, you are a tuff cookie, keep up the fight ...... we are all thinking of you as you battle this time ..... best wishes mate .....

Dot, see what you started over in the morning pages? That's been a good laugh for everyone. Hope your day went well. xxxx

Ray, hope that you are doing as well as you sound mate xxx

Remember on Monday we had a specialist send an email to say they would ring to make an appointment for his nibs ankle? Of course no phone call, that might involve people contact. Anyway the emails says that he has am appointment for a date in November. After we both went ballistic, I grabbed his ipad and read the email myself. There were some attachments that had a lot of information about the injury. It will normally self heal and benefits by help from physio and wearing a moon boot for 4 weeks. He only needs to keep the appointment if he is still in pain in 3 months time. I rang physio immediately and he has an appointment next Monday. She suggested that he should get a proper ankle brace from the chemist (like I suggested last week). He went straight to the chemist and bought one, which he will wear because he paid for it. I had been strapping his ankle early last week, but he finally demanded that he could do it. Obviously he didn't pay attention to the first aid courses that we had to do annually. Sometimes it's safer to stay quiet. I am much happier to see him getting some support from the brace.

Not a lot else happened today except for the beautiful sunshine. Two days in a row, that was so good. Nigel says we will get rain for the next 2 days. grr We have had enough rain for this year.

night all xxx

My niece has a thermo thing and she loves it. Too complicated for me. If I couldn't tell the difference between a nipple and tackle what chance do I have with one of those cookers  Q/ ProfT What do you call women's bits? "lady tackle"? I can just imagine Bernie bending down to the floor yelling his head off to Carol "get me out of here" I have requested that Gman make some more shelves for the kitchen and he has agreed. Tomorrow he is going to grease some O ring on the bus bog ?? Happy for him  Checked the old email acc and a referral to the X/Ray place for CT assisted injections to L3 & L5 from the back man and right now I am watching Dirty Harry oh yummo wasn't Clint a hunk?. G has been cleaning up the little gopher then its getting the batteries and a charger (that was misplaced) Had to laugh they said who Harry liked? answer was he hates everyone like spicks, wogs, and nigg--s etc that would give the PC twerps a jog. Off to bed now as fire is burnt out so time for the elec blanket and dirty Harry. Stay warm and dry and Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Tanks x :D :D P.S. I reckon a pic of those giant Bernie Nipples is a must.

Greased "O" rings rather than greased nipples, I guess it's all part of aging ;)

Rang my friend in NZ tonight, would you believe her bro and his corrupt lawyer had a sheriff serve her with papers that they intend to bankrupt her and list her property for sale. The law over there is sicker than here, we thought it was all over but Oh no the bast---s want to kill her with stress. Personally I think his lawyer is getting "dirty drug" money and is getting his bills paid with it. How else would an unemployed bum getting Legal aid for over 5 years pay his bills? His lawyer was ordered by the court to show how he is paying his lawyer that was ignored and o has been done about it ?? The judges as well ignore important stuff so all I can think is there is a rat in the system or the judges are also on the take. Sue has paid all her bills and has receipts for everything and the bro has O so you tell me? She said it is back to rain rain and more rain over there.. Hey ProfT, while I was wandering around the yard I came across 2 nice looking mushrooms, I immediately thought "I reckon you would like them maybe in a stew"? Next week is full with Drs appointments, How is your few days away going RnB and Molly? Brian has done absolutely nothing all day apart from eating his food that was put under his nose and sleeping with a gentle snore .Flipped the tv on and was greeted with the biggest pair of boobs ever seen (well by me anyway) she had 3,000cc boobs and she was having bedazzled done onto her boobs and a vagdazzled that means sticking on fake jewels on those areas, those yanks are really f.I.T.H. and their lips look like a pigs bum. The men must be even weirder to even say they look good. hmmmm Hope everyone is keeping as good as they can. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Nomads x :D

Dot send Sue a hug from me. Narcistic family is the worst kind. xxxx

Shirley told you it was raining this morning. The sun was shining beautifully this afternoon and tonight it's pissing down. They tell us that Melbum has all seasons in a day. I reckon that we have much more variety than Melbum. It's either raining lions and leopards or beautiful streaming sunshine. I am sure we are the tropics now.

Not a lot happening here.

night all xxx

RnB are you with a group or solo? We have had some rain and strong winds again tonight, My footy team was on the verge of a win a few seconds to full time and bugger me the scene was set for a win in front of goals and he kicked a point, lost by 2 points :( :( :( :(A busy medical week next week so by next weekend we shall be knackered good and proper, G finished doing the new shelves for the pantry now to get all the others I have requested about 20, :D G There is a stale bread in the oven right now, G has been told in no uncertain terms NO MORE buying of cakes, if he wants cakes we have some mixes in the pantry, a book of cake recipes, so he decided all the bread he hasn't eaten (crusts) that he would bake it tonight. He now has gone to bed and left the cake looking after to me. Hey Robert will have to get that trap back again, G went outside just before and guess what he spied? yep a ginger cat from the usual place, it was down near the birds. :x When are you home ProfT? I have good memories of the Shepparton drive in David, I lived at Merrigum and got married there when the murders of Gary Haywood and Albina Magill (spelling). Had a weird phone call earlier, no one there at first but then a mans voice doing a weird growl sound then he hung up ?? Time to get cake out to cool so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Riverlander x :D
