Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Bernie, I used Defender Bindii plus Clover Lawn Weeder, bought it at Bunnings, we have buffalo grass it says not to spray same on it more than once a year, it’s certainly eradicated the clover, heaps less ducks coming into our yard, new neighbours six houses down the road buy feed for the ducks always at least 10-20 ducks near their premises.

Whiskers are all sorted, tweezers and hot wax.
The weed stuff we got is from the green shed, It is Yates lawn weed killer. Bindi & Clover concentrate. Also for Dandelion, Capeweed, and is NOT suitable for Buffalo Lawns.
I was too knackered to go with G today for his lung capacity test so I just fluffed around in the garden. I forgot to tell you last night that one of the things I have been waiting for happened and one more thing to go. On our way yesterday we saw the coppers doing a booze stop but as usual we got waived on BUT on the way home we got the light flashing so we knew the cops were somewhere. And there they were but on our side and yes we got waved in :D 99% of air into the straw done and I passed . I now want to have the drug test to see how my arm copes with any reading? Anyway that was my excitement for yesterday  Does anyone know of anyone passing through Adelaide and going to or near a place called Mangrove Mountain NSW? I have a bag of teddy bears that are far to big to post, I will put them in one of those vac bags for ease of transport. They are for a raffles for the Snowy Mountain Horse rescues. Time for an early night as tomorrow we are off to Birdwood to see GP and the op shop of course. Hope all the sickies are improving. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight WimmeraJack x :D

Dot, where do you find the energy to keep doing all those garden things? Maybe it's not as hot as we are, but heck it's summer, already. You're right about the storage things. Once we get home to the rest of the stuff, it will also need to be put somewhere. It looks like there are a lot of cupboards, but Jayco have this knack of filling them with pipes and wiring that's encased in thick rubber/plastic tubing. So may cupboards are already full before you buy the van. xxxx

We had a celebration lunch today. He had spaghetti marinara and I had a seafood platter for one. It was delicious and we really needed no big dinner tonight. After lunch we went to Aldi to get a few things and he found their chocolate brioche scrolls, that only come out for Christmas. He put that in the trolley with some custard and a couple of bits of that were dinner.

Tomorrow, we will start to head for home. Hope the weather is better than the two 40 degree days that we have had here. The aircon in this van is so quiet, so happy with that. Many new things here that we are still discovering all the tricks, but it is so new and hardly used. Many of the cupboard doors are still stiff, like they have not been opened very often. For a 2018 van, it still has many things that feel unused. The windows are all hard to push open and seem like they will need some kind of grease. .. he says lanolin, but we will do some research first.

night all xxx

Try WD-40 specialist silicon spray.
Read up on it first for suitability.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Morning all nice night and a bit on the warm side.

Had a new Dometic AC unit installed in the van yesterday. Looks good on the inside and a lot quieter than the old clacker. Use to leak when it rained so hoping that has stopped.

Expecting solar mob to install new panels and batteries to day.

Having stitches in the leg out then over the other side of town to see my heart surgeon to find out what is happening. Sprung this meeting on me Tuesday so we will see.

Take care and DOT slow down please. Cheers Robert

I'll second Keiths recommendation, leaves no sticky residue that collects dust. WD-40 aren't the only makers of dry silicon spray, so look around to see what is available in the dry finish silicon sprays

T1 Terry

Specialist Dry PTFE Anti friction is what the WD40 can is labelled, but as I said before, there are plenty out there, I think it might have been CRC we used when I had the mechanical workshop, great for door hinges, the inside of keylocks, window glass tracks to free up the window going up and down, any press buttons that were sticky and sometimes even to stop dash board squeaks .....

Woo hoo, today has been good to me for once. Saw GP for results of U/S to look at my fatty liver and also some kidney abnormalities. Dr was pleased that I am not Diabetic type 2 as then I would be in the fert so for now she is satisfied and to watch and see. She did the usual BP and it was way down so off the meds and take BP x 2 times a day then if any woes to ring her. Off to the op shop as usual, took them a box of lemons then hit the racks  G got a few summer shirts, HTFFBO have some summer tops (if I ever see her) I got a top a dress and a pr of slacks not bad for $7. Outside the Dr rooms there was a government huge bus, it was a mobile C/Link unit for the out lying towns to the city. Got home at 5pm with some drizzle then all hell let go, gutters not coping and water everywhere, so outside brushing the gunk from the filters. Deborah hope you are enjoying the new van with the extra space. Watch out when the old fella starts to chase you around though  What type of roofing do people recommend for replacing the shade cloth roofing around the pergola? I am sick of the pavers going yucky from the rain /weather. The pavers that don't get wet are no issue. Deborah those slacks you get and have to take up are they from a "hippy" type shop that has all the rocks/stones, incense, and brightly colored clothing etc? Went into one today and their floppy slacks were $60.Pretty but not that price pretty for me  Off to bed now getting excited about going to the Monarto Zoo. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bernie x :D

Dot, good health results, now take it a bit slower for while huh? My happy/hippy pants are usually under $40 , so keep an eye out for them elsewhere. I have sometimes lucked them at vinnies too. xxxx

Thanks for all the suggestions to unstick out window winder thingys, They don't wind, just push out and seem to get stuck and don't come in as easily. We will do some research.

Today we drove down to Bulahdellah (sp?) and already have had some firsts. We had to find how to use the grey water storage tanks, instead of our usual bucket and chuckit. There is no water available here, so we had to figure out the technicalities of using the pump and our fresh water tanks. neither is a problem, just new adventures. We are staying behind the bowlo and it's a fairly busy sort of place. The club itself is very quiet, so they appreciate the custom of travellers.

Just for Dot. I will try to attach some pics.
