Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning.
Too much information Dot
The fridge is in...not to be removed again...I hope :D
Microwave also in just the pretty stuff left to do...picture frame stuff
I should with a bit of luck turn the fridge on today to give it a run so to speak. Might put a can of beer in to celebrate :D
Bloody Terry...I almost forgot the diesel heater tank :? will have to get back to that soon.
Neighbor's little house is now due to arrive on Monday, the truck had to do a run up north.
Auspost  talking to mate over the back...he bought a new fuel cap for his vintage motor bike...from Brisbane, tracking showed it was sent to Mareeba far north QLD then to Cairns ...he got InTouch with Auspost they said it was lost   next he see's it back in Brisbane he may get it this year
I don't worry about spelling gramma mistakes...if you can read it it's fine.
That was it for yesterday.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Dot wrote: Fri Apr 12, 2024 8:36 pm Terry your loo sounds like someone has done things back to front, here is how you use it...
1/ lift the loo lid
2/ sit down and do your business
3/ Put the lid down
4/use the foot pedal by a short sharp push down.
5/ If there was streaks then lift the pedal up to put a bit more water in the bowl to clean it.
6/ PUT the lid down and flush again.
Never flush the loo with the seat up

We usually turn on the water pump on before using the loo..
When G installed ours he increased the height to the height of the house loo. .
Tried that method originally, no success, blocked every time. Tried just holding the pedal down but part way through the download, I got wet gonads, the bowl had filled with water. Learnt from there to turn the water pump off.
Next we tried it without the water running but full vacuum built up, still blocked. So the method we use listed above works every time, just a nuisance having to go through such a process.
Maybe it's the U turn the pipe does behind the toilet the wall. It goes up around a mtr, a short join and then back down, then across the floor and through the hole to the maze of bends that gets it into the cassette.
All that was hidden by the stove, now the stove is gone, it's not a good look inside the cupboard when we get that built by the carpenter mob beside the old workshop.

The macerator toilet is the correct height, plenty of bowl room complete with the extended bit I made to place the macerator pump under the floor, so the download goes straight to the chopper blades, just have to be careful not to lean back on the switch and start it running while I'm still seated, don't want a similar result as the ATR button on bidet

Had one nasty back splash just pressing the pedal with out the vac pump running, fortunately it was only urine and I didn't get a back log .. or a log back more precisely. Seems it built up pressure in the pipework and the rush of air back up sent the bowl contents up and out ... fortunately it was  and not :o or I might have ended up with a taste simply brushing the teeth might not remove ;)

It wouldn't make much difference Terry, it's already been through your system once. It's a lot worse if it was a strangers.

George, you should know that Bernie doesn't cook, so it would only be a problem for Carol. But that fridge is less than 1500mm high anyway. It would need to be a real high cupboard to make it unreachable. :D

At least it was on the inside and in the form of a beer when it went in the first time .... it would have been like drinking XXXX I suppose, not something I'd do willingly ;)

Just removed the pipes from the toilet, not all the contents has gone through to the keeper .... I'm not sure my diaphragm muscles will ever recover .... but at least I didn't add to the mess on the floor  Can't wait to get that thing out and a proper toilet in it's place

Terry, George suspects the loo pipes have not been installed correctly. based on the installation book which says that the height difference between the loo and the cassette should not exceed 800mm a rise of 1m and a number of bends leads me to believe that the installation procedure was incorrect our vacuum loo works perfectly. Our friend in the airline business says to use crushed ice every now and again, it scrapes any bits off the insides of the pipes. The seal O rings also need attention by using O ring grease. Seems the prev owner was not forthcoming.
