Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Bernie  , throw it away, buy a jumper and an electric blanket.
Hard to wear a jumper when running around nudie in the MH.
Won't see anything if cold enough

Morning all.
Gees you lot take the Mickey out of one 😁 NC George your a braver man than me... telling Carol to put on a jumper and electric blanket 😡
I have a bit of a busy day today, people who have bought my ute are coming down to pick it up.
So the diesel heater will have to wait... probably till Monday.
There is a garage sale in Apple tree creek today I wish to go to, depending on how the boss is when she gets up.
Bloody warm this morning 15 degrees, as apposed to 4 degrees yesterday morning...it's overcast and could rain ☔ but not holding my breath 😁
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Wasnt as cold overnight as it has been. We might get a shower or two, but I'll be like Bernie and not hold my breath.
Spent most of yesty arvo pulling nails out of old skirting and sanding it down. Today I will be installing it all.
Nothing else planned for today, no footy til tomorrow.
Not much else to report.
Have a top day everybody.
Cheers

Rained here overnight, not really cold but not T shirt weather either. Think I've sorted the "no light in the fridge" problem, a small voltage regulator mounted in a bit of heat sink at the back of the fridge seems to have past on to the other side, bought a replacement yesterday, so some soldering and it should work again ......

Finally put a plug on the induction stove, works great, but now the knife and fork drawer won't close fully ...... Now, rather than changing the plug, the boss wants the powerpoint moved from behind the drawer to a spot where she can turn it off at the powerpoint, so the stove top can add to the bench area when not in use ..... logical, but not easy by any stretch of the imagination ......

The battery balancer has arrived, it's raining again, so that one will be on hold for a while

Good morning everyone.
My ute has gone 🥲 they paid cash 😁.
Didn't get to go to the garage sale, herself is still having trouble with the sciatic nerve 😡
It was the coldest day so far this winter I kept the fire 🔥 burning all day and night.
I know what I will be doing today, now that the ute has gone I can rearrange the car shed.
And it's bacon and eggs.
Keep safe and warm everyone.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Its a bright sunny day here on the GC. No rain yet. But the man says its coming.
We had poached eggs on toast this morn. I'm off the bacon at the moment.
Spent most of yesty putting skirts back on the walls and shifting furniture. Used my new toy. A battery operated nail gun, makes it a lot quicker. Heading off to watch the gkid play footy soon.
Have a top day everybody. :D
Cheers

Good morning 11.5c prediction 16c & a shower or two only 5mm, looks bleak cloudy grey sky, sun no where to be seen, definitely an inside day for us, SW wind.
Made pumpkin soup y’day, only need to put it thru the blender, thinking we’ll enjoy same later.

Unfortunately Bernie think the sciatic nerve is an ongoing problem once you have damaged same, our eldest son damaged his windsurfing when he was young & at times has a problem even walking when his plays up, very painful.

Shirley, I used to be plagued with sciatic pain when I was
younger. Just about lived on pain killers, then I found a physio that showed me an exercise that helped greatly. I don't need the meds anymore. As we all know, having a sore back is not fun.

Rain seems to have passed for the moment, sun is shining and the humidity is climbing as fast as it can without actually dropping back out of the air. Emptied the grey water and the 3 x 215 ltr black water tanks into the I.O. in the friends driveway ...... used the drill powered pump that I also use on the grey water when dump point is higher than the grey water outlet. Worked really well, I might look for a hose in hose out macerator to add to the "handy to have" equipment.
Heater drank 5 ltrs diesel in 3 days, another jerry can fill up waiting for the pump to arrive from temu.
The 24-12 voltage regulator from Jaycar let out a lot of smoke for such a small item, pin out must be different or something, relented and paid the $10.50 for a voltage reduction module that we bought for $3 each when we had the business. They can handle up to 35v input and deliver 3v to 34v, or one volt lower than the input voltage in reality, and 2.5 amps, overkill for a 5w 12v bulb, but at least I can finally cross the fridge light off the list
