I’m considering moving to another planet.
Ch7 news tonight led with a story on football and drugs, followed by an article on footballers playing slipperydips.
We then had FIVE MINUTES of real news before switching to sports… more football!

The Aboriginal Broadcasting Corporation (ABC NEWS24) was not much better.
It appears an edict has been issued directing that every bulletin not only has to be announced as coming from Bubblegum/YoYo County or somesuch, but must also include at least one item on some aspect of aboriginal life… usually featuring a white aboriginal.
There were FOUR tonight.

We’ve switched to something more intellectual… Big Brother.

I am sick of druggies being protected when they should be in jail.

And as if that isn't enough, the Socceroos have made it to the world cup. So, there will be more ball sports on the news.

Can only agree Dot, I have supported The Bulldogs ,AKA Footscray for the last 70 years and I feel that player and any others caught should be shown the front door, give them medical and mental help they need but no financial help. Drugs in society is a real curse and our courts don't help.
