Good morning everyone. Another fine day coming up here, bit of rain, bit of sun and probably some wind too.
I made a big pot of tomato relish yesterday, and fluffed about trying to get the rangehood install finished. Hopefully the plaster repairs will be ok.
Nothing much else planned for today, yet.
It's bin truck day, maybe the bin will need washing.

It is my bin day today now that I am living in Wyakatchem. The truck driver comes at 11:00am and always waves to me.
We are a friendly lot out here.

Good morning all from the Central Wheatbelt of Western Australia checking in with a low density population of only 300 citizens.
David, health wise; I am clicking along as well as can be expected at 86 years old. I'm still aiming for the 87 year mark, and only a few months to go. We are in February already and will soon be in June. Where did January go !

MY dear lady friend has been given 2 to 3 months and is now on Palative Care at her home. The medicos are going to continue with the chemotherapy and radiotherapy and we are all wanting an improvement in her health.
She is only 73 years old. She has 4 sisters and a brother who take turns living with her and getting her to the clinic for treatment. She still goes shopping with their help and is very independant as far as doing things for herself.

So good that you look forward to candle #87.
Personally I reckon you should be aiming to see #90 on your cake! A bit of determined optimism goes a long way!
Also, although your lady friend is having a hard time of life, it’s great that her family has gathered around to support and help her.
When you next see her, let her know that there are other people — who have never met her — thinking of her and wishing her the best.

Good morning everyone. Today will be a copy and paste of the past few days here. A lot of rain expected later in the week.
I have finished the upgrade works in the kitchen, it all looks pretty good now. Just one part of the cornice I'm not thrilled with. Today will be cleanup and pack up all the tools day.
Might even try to cleanup the shed. Or not.

Hot water system has been a bit iffy lately, but yesterday it didn't matter how much I pressed the reset buttons, it refused to fire up. Tested the thermostats with the multimeter, found the faulty one, but then lost power. A frantic assemble of a 200Ah Winston cell 12v battery and jumper leads and that got the inverter to stay on, the Full River batteries are door stops now days .... time for a scan and see if that came up with a reason why this wasn't a coincidence ..... bingo, one pair of thermostats is for the DC and gas, the other is for the electric and I must have touched the multimeter probes to the heater body by accident .... and that tripped the RCD at the power box next door Fixed that, removed the two thermostats that control the gas and bridge the wires, and away it went. Set an alarm on the phone to turn the hot water switch off in 30 mins and we had hot water again. Dinner was ready about then, so the long awaited shower was postponed, the Margaret used the hot water to do the washing up and turned the hot water switch on again ...... and forgot about it By the time I remembered, the water in the tank must have boiled, the safety valve dumped it all and put the gas out of action .... so it was a cold shower after all

Gunna see if I can get replacement thermostats from Jaycar and refit the control system .... the memory system failed real bad .....

Good morning.
I done both sides of the hedge and started on the top, it's about 7 foot high I'm trying to get it down to around 6 foot, I'm standing on my plank with two small ladder stands...I'm getting there... slowly...
Seals didn't arrive...gives you the shits I could have driven down and picked them up... would have been quicker.
So today will be much the same...
I have a few things I want to do in the motorhome, but as it's sitting on blocks and the ground under is still damp I'm not going to do them till it's back on its wheels.

One stump a day. Yesterday's was near perfect, so I may have got to the end. I'll do the corners next.
