Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Happy birthday Carol!
Bernie are you sending this hot weather up here or am I sending it to you?
Quite often you get these early heatwaves. I remember one down south that had everyone in a spin & killed a lot of fowls in people's back yards even tho they had plenty of water.
Drink plenty of fluids! Bernie I didn't say water did I?
You going to watch the car races David? (Gold Coast)

Bruce, I might have a peek at the Supercars today. But it has lost a lot of appeal to me, and a lot of others that I know. Especially at Surfers, where it is basically a freight train race.
I'll probably spend more time watching the horse racing on ch68/78 from down south. The helicopters have already been over, the fighter jets will be along soon. They are always good. We see/hear them a lot here.
Cheers

Almost a cold day... only got to 39 😜😋
I didn't do much at all yesterday... the temp soon takes away any notion of work...so I didn't...I did have the bore running to keep the gardens hydrated...
It's herselfs birthday today... expecting daughter to come out...we told our son not too...as we seen him on Tuesday..
So nothing planned for 😁...I might fool around in the shed... till it gets to hot...
Keep safe.
Bernie.
Happy Birthday Carol, don't let Bernie in your spar today with the daughter coming over. make him fool around in the shed and leave you alone for a while .... it is your birthday not his ;)

Have a great day and happy birthday Carol.
Keith, over here in the Wild West
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Good morning everyone. Looks like its going to be another nice day for us today. But that's going to change in the afternoon according to our resident art critic, Nigel. Electrical storm with damaging hail is the prediction. That's a good way to spoil the day for the racecars.
We went out to Costco early yesty. Won't be doing that on a Saturday morning again. Twas packed. Came home and just fluffed about.
Enjoy your B& E Bernie.
Safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers

After this yrs "Big Race" it will be the 12 hr and those type races for me from now on .... and of course the Drag Racing, that is the purest form of putting power to the ground type racing, and that includes the drag and drive events, speed events, street drag racing where the track is not prepared ..... proper power to the ground racing, where the level of skill is outside the control of officials

Good morning everyone, no matter what the weather gods decide to send us today.
We had a Sunday afternoon that I would prefer had not happened but sometimes things happen that you can't control.
There was a fire in the back of the fridge in the Winny yesty arvo.
It hasn't done anything any favours. Luckily for us, we were home at the time and as luck would have it there was a hose running attached to a sprinkler on the front lawn. Shouldn't call it lawn, it's just a crappy bit of grass.
At one point of the afternoon we had 3 fire trucks, 2 police cars, 2 tow trucks, 1 ambulance and an Energex crew in the street.
I think the Winnebago will be repairable. It doesn't look like much damage, but the heat has melted a lot of the Styrofoam sheet that they use as insulation in the roof and the walls.
The ambos were concerned that Terrie and I may have suffered smoke inhalation or respiratory distress from ammonia fumes.
But I'm happy to report that we are both fine.
It certainly wasn't how I expected our Sunday arvo to end.
Safe travels all those out and about. Have a top day.
Cheers
David

Only good thing is you and Terrie are okay..

I had yesterday off..
Keep safe.
