Dot's whereabouts ....

Post by Dot »

We are on our maiden voyage at last and have parked up for the night at Camerons corner rest area just a few k's out of Nhill. Not too bad, at least the rubbish bins are empty not like most of them along the Duke's HW, full up and overflowing... Norman & Christine are alongside the mothership and just realised they have one of those dam wizz bangs  and you know what those old bladders are like during the night... Not much traffic either. One smarty pants went flying past us and we saw him further up the road talking to a man in blue who was writing stuff down on a pad    P.S. Sorry Steevo, I put this post in the wrong thread, too tired right now to shift it , maybe the boss will do it for me

She's not making this up! I actually saw her and George and their foster children in the Highway. She was waving at everybody she passed. Well she waved at us anyway.

Dottie,
Good to see you out on your first voyage in the new bus.
:D :D
However, at your (and G's) age, can it be called a "Maiden" Voyage??

Sad news from us:
This morning, as we were locking house to leave for friend's 60th birthday lunch, Girt's water pump started cycling madly.
By the time we unlocked again, retrieved keys & got inside, we had water running down the floor!
Frantic mopping ensued, with every towel we could lay hands on (AFTER turning off said pump!).
Managed to track the source to somewhere under the shower base: a fully-enclosed area with no obvious access panel! Sounded like the pump was blowing out of a failed joint, rather than cracked hose. This is based on the rapidity of pump cycles - almost constant.
Unless I can get advice/help beforehand, it looks like we won't be leaving Tuesday. Maybe there Wednesday if a fast fix is available. Has to be... still some water leaking from somewhere. :(
And we were so looking forward to happy hours with you, Norman & whoever else turns up!
Regards & God bless,
Ray
