Flinders Range

Hi all,
Currently camped at Wilpena Pound, arrived earlier today and plan to stay long enough to get a good look around. Left the Locke Peninsula on Tuesday, it was an interesting place. Friendly people, some great scenery, especially at Innes NP, but there are many great spots along the coast. I traveled through Burra SA on the way, that is a very interesting town with some beautiful stone buildings; apparently the heritage of Cornish miners who worked in the copper mine.

Traveling north from there I camped at the Goyder Line (Camps6 #405) and driving north from there it suddenly got a lot drier. Very interesting country.

And now, off to find out what is here and how to get to it.
