Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side.
With a 2kg potato bag in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, and then relax.
Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer. After a couple of weeks, move up to 5kg potato bags.
Then try 25kg potato bags and then eventually try to get to where you can lift a 50kg potato bag in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. (I'm at this level now.)
After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each bag.

"tanks" here -- [another Keith]
I like that mate --I will start my daily exercise today. Do you have a line on where to buy cheap potato bags.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Re: Exercises for the over 50's
Are you going to use them for exercise or as a dating aid Keith? You might not want the see through ones and a pull tie can be handy to make sure the bag doesn't fall off, don't want any nasty surprise ehKeith Morris wrote:"tanks" here -- [another Keith]

"tanks" here T-1.
Not as a dating aid mate. I do need the exercise as the Sprinter is small I don't have far to chase around to find 'the spot' . Turning out the lights and you don't need the bag to cover your "mistakes" - just clear the deck in the morning before the sun rises, and make your own coffee. There are exceptions of course and you may even decide to have company till the next town. Ahh- memories of long ago. Perhaps an "ONION" Bag will be a good substitute depending on your social activity.
Keith.
NOTE: there are several Members maned KEITH on the Forum - I'm not sure which Keith your post was directed to.
like when I was at the RSL Broome, we had five Keiths as Members. We numbered them K1, K2, K3, K4, and K5. The numerical identity was decided on age. I was K2.

The correct Keith answered K2, that is how I got to be T1, 5 Terry's with various spellings and members representives from both sexes attended on one of the old forum get togethers, numbers kinda stuck.
I guess if you leave the glasses off the mental image will remain, you never have any mistakes you can remember that way
