We have been parked up at the Cue caravan jail for about a month. Cost is $105 (pension rate). Very clean and quiet. We have been chasing the gold and it has been a little slow but we are finding it. Won't get rich but having fun anyway. The park has a dump point and the water is bore water. It is ok to drink but we filter and boil it regardless.

yes, but we don't intend cashing it in just yet. We will let the price of gold recover and only then use it as an emergency fund. The area has been very heavily worked over the years. We are heading over to Leonora towards the end of the year so with any luck we will do better there.
