Kathrine to Kununarru

Post by Helen Grose »

Hi all,
At the moment we are at the wwii airport at Daly Waters. Not going to pub this time have been befor.
The trip up the center has been great south of Alise Springs the flys where terriable but up this way they are not to bad.
We will be heading toward Kununarra and was wondering if anyone can reccomend any good camp sites in this area hoping to have a couple of weeks somewhere.
Thanks for any help
All the best take care and above all else have fun

There are a couple of spots between the two towns - cannot remember their names, but they are listed in CAW 6 (& 7?).

Two good spots are Keep River National Park and a zebra rock place just up the Duncan Highway it backs down onto Lake Argyle on the NT Side. The people there are very nice. Both are ony a very short distance from NT /WA border and therefore close to Kunnunurra should you require food supplies.
