Grey Water all over the road

Post by Wilbor »

Normally we drop grey water responsibly, now having said that I believe watering trees and grass at certain places is responsible, not like the caravanner at the Cape River rest area last night who dropped his all over the pavement, buuuuut coming up the Gregory Development Road this morning about ½ an hour before sunrise this stupid roo decided to take on Wilbor……..He lost, but he did have a parting shot before he hopped along to kanga heaven

I pulled over to see if we had any damage and while walking around the front to have a look at the port hand side saw fluid pouring all over the road near the back wheel. At first I thought he may have taken out the HWS but no. Stupid roo attacked Wilbor along the side and while bouncing his way along opened the tap about one full turn on the grey water outlet. I really did try to take it with us but by the time I actually came to a stop, got out and found it, the tank was almost empty. Honest ;)

I'm told that a truckies worst nightmare is a roo collecting the electrical wiring before exiting the rear of the train. That's why their bars extend down close to the roadway.

dawg (hope you fired up the choofer - shame to waste all that meat)

The absolute worst is a Feral pig with a wombat running a close second, they can and often do take out all your brake lines on the way through!

Clipped a wombat one night in an F100. Thing was up on two wheels for a bit, thought I was a goner. Talk about a solid lump. Wombat must have been OK as he wasn't there the next morning which was good. I hate running into any wildlife and hate seeing them laying by the roadside.
