Countdown :: Dapope Hits The Road 13th July 2013

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

And the new hairdo really suits her, such a shy retiring little ray of sunshine that she is.

Has the Swaggie passed all her safety and mechanical checks now Martin? I think those swaggies look like a grasshopper from the front view. 8-)

Yes, all good Dot, several shakedown cruises now, got the fancy battery pack in, had a big refurbish , new air con, now getting new towbar fitted, and set for a framing. Hopefully we will have the pajero dragging behind us when we head north.
Grasshopper maybe, but I don't have to tailgate the slowpokes for long usually

So what are your plans (if any?) are you going to live in full time or ?? mths? House sold rented? On second thoughts the swaggies look more like a preying mantis. What "stuff" have you secretly thrown back out? :D

I have 5 weeks off. Plan is to head north asap till about Broome, then we will slow down, although we may detour into Karajinni NP. I seriously thought about doing the Gibb River Road, but feedback is that theres too many loonies on that road this time of year. We want to get into the Bunglebungles.
Then is back to work till October, flip over to NZ for 2 weeks to meet the new granddaughter, and catch up with family (motorhome is booked)
Then back to work till November next year, when my long service leave falls due, and rental contract is up
As log as the better half's kids are semi-sorted, then we will depart Perth for however long we want.
That's the plan anyway
