Bugger. I bought 2 from Kmart when they were clearing them for $25.00 !
They had reduced them from $75.00.
Great ladders for the price.

I bought this one because I wanted a step ladder and an extension ladder. Quality seems to be very good, function very good. Is heavier than the original telescopic ladders because of the steel folding brackets that would be a couple of kg each. Very happy though.

Dot

This is the one I bought so that I could climb on the roof of the bus easy because of the edge of the roof curved, it weighs 17kg and is a bit heavy to lug around but is very sturdy cost was about $220.

Steve, I have looked at that type and wonder how sturdy they are to get off the roof at 3.6 metres, and what is the weight as it wasn't on the eBay link.

Down sides, don't put your fingers in the way when you collapse them, they bit like a pit bull, don't let it fall over, a dent in any part of the tube and it won't collapse or if you get it collapsed you can get it to come apart again, don't splash anything on the tube bit, same problem as above.
Apart from all that, I think they are great thing, Brian bought his second hand on evil bay for under $100 from memory, complete with a carry bag, he's happy with it, Kevin's fell over in the wind and now doesn't go up or down and because one of the sections won't fully extend the locking bits don't work..... I won't post here what he said about them.... but it wasn't on the plus side

Had ours for 5 years now with no problems - even though we paid over $300 for at that time.
