Onslow WA

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

We went out to Onslow, no room at the Inn so we went to get fish & chips before heading back along the one way road  guess what? the F&C shop didn't open till 6pm so we drove all the way to the CP that had no room, a shop that didn't open till late so their free water draw was all we got.. I reckon if they have no room at the CP a sign to say that many many miles back should say that.

Amazing what big mining groups and 5000 workers will do for a town!! Both Caravan Parks are in the middle of town Dotty and there is no Fish & Chips Shop, ya thinking of the same place?

IGA is open 8am - 7pm 5 days a week and Sundays 8am til 6pm, not like that any more hay? Even Geraldton IGA wasn't open on Sundays, must be 100 times bigger than Onslow.

Read our latest blog, I finally got to Onslow..........1 month after getting here!!!

We did a drive by a couple of years ago, but the local museum was worth the visit
The local garage was expensive for fuel, but when I asked to buy some oil for the genny to change it, they GAVE me 2l of oil that they had in damaged bottles. I had bought fuel first, wasn't as dear as Nannutarra
Wobblybox on wheels
Pace Arrow. La de da, property in two continents..

Yeah Dpope We agree with you regarding the museum, it's a ripper hay? well worth seeing.

The Old Onslow is well worth seeing too 30 minutes or so from New Onslow, ruins of Cop Shop is just amazing, then 3 Mile Pool Free Camp nearby well worth a stay too.............

Camping on the river bank in the 3-mile area.
