Don't tell me G is on strike? Tell him you don't need a Qld license to cook up there .... yet!
Nope! Never tried them.
I tried frozen "bubble & Squeak" the other day, fried in frypan rather than deep fried. Was OK for a snack.

Dot, I bought a bunch of those meals when they were on a half price offer to have as backup on the remote parts of this trip. They are actually very good, although I didn't think much of the damper. But it may have been the way I mixed it - it was very heavy. The selection included lamb and veal shanks, meatballs in tomato gravy, beef stew and the dampers. At half price, I thought they were reasonable value but I would not pay full price for them as that is way too expensive. Very handy to have when feeling too tired to cook after a long day's drive. No refrigeration needed, very long life and only need to be heated in the pouch in a saucepan of boiling water that you can then use to do the washing up.
Cheers

This is the website http://happycampergourmet.com.au/ but you won't get the special deals there. I don't remember where I ordered them from but it was one of the camper discount websites like Bitdeal or similar. I must have received it as an email so it could have been somewhere like Caravansplus.com.au from whom we buy stuff. If you can get them for half price, they are a reasonable deal. Works out at about $5 per meal (each) if I remember correctly.
Cheers
