Meningie

Post by BruceS »

The dump point at Meningie, SA is located on the entry point to the town on the Southern side. (coming from Kingston SE, SA)
It is located at the 60km/hr sign post and is on the left side coming into town from the South. Traffic from either way can cross the road to enter it. It may be a hard for a big rig to turn around if they go past it coming out of the town. (Maybe enter the airstrip turnoff to turn around.... a bit further out)

Another one that is set way back behind the bollards. I wonder why they do that?

Craig if your saw "Ozfueler"'s driving you'd understand!!! ;) :D :D
(sorry Steve... couldn't resist!)
I have a Civilian that has a grey water outlet only 5-6" above the ground........... I have trouble running water uphill to most dump points.
I therefore either need a pump or I let it run out at my convenience. (naughty boy?)
Why can't the top of them be at ground level or even 4" below?

I too have problems getting my grey water to drain into the dump points.
If they have to have them so high why not a concrete pad raised up so the pad is level with the top of the dump point.
Seems someone still has not done their research as you would think they would amend the installation instructions so that it would be possible for all to empty.
Just an invitation for those of us who can not use them to have to do the naughty stuff to drain our tank.
I usually can get down to about 1/4 and then it stops
