Robe's dump point is located In Robe St, a street that runs off to the South of the main road as you enter the town.... not far after the service station.
It is situated well back off the road and the biggest of rigs should be able to do a U-turn there. Rigs can get quite close to the dump point although, once again, it is a little high for many vehicles to gravity feed into it.

Robe isn't a real Motorhome friendly place in that the majority of streets are very narrow & there is limited parking anywhere.... even for a car!
Free overnight camping close to the town is a problem unless you hide somewhere!!

Re: Robe
Hi Bruce,
In the October Wanderer, Robe is supposedly an RVFT with a 24hr stop over at the OBelisk, and also Jumbo's Landing also 24Hr. Our trip to Robe was umpteen years ago so do not remember how close these sites are to town.

Re: Robe
Yes I didn't want to get too much into the politics of it as some will say I'm biased towards Kingston but firstly the Obelisk would be much too open for me........ one of the windiest places around! The other place is a few KM's out of town & I wouldn't wish to try to park a big MH or even a caravan in there.
After dark 'someone' could pinch a spot or two in the football oval. Nice flat area & a unisex toilet in there by the tennis courts at the back of the footy club rooms.
Robe has a bit of a reputation like Victor Harbour...... if you're silly enough to go there, be prepared to pay heaps for the privilege!!
