G'day,

Saw this rig in Gooloogong, NSW recently.

It's an ex-airport firefighter - a 1959 Thornicroft 4WD. The bloke who owns it built the MH part.

Gee that's a mean looking outfit!
Looks like it went through someone's front fence & a few panels got hooked up on it!!
There's a few vehicles around suitable for that conversion but most are flat out at about 65km/hr.
Where about are you at present Eddie?

G'day Bruce,

I'm camped at Haslam, SA for another night - then heading home to Mandurah, WA. Haven't seen the grannies for 18 months, so...

Have delayed my NZ trip until Feb 2014.

Forgot to mention in the previous post that the forward section of the MH pops up for a bedroom.
