Wakey wakey

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Wakey wakey

Post by Macca »

Good morning sleepy heads from still bl----y hot QLD. Woke before alarm as want to get to water front (mud flats) before sunrise. I am sure yesterday was the HOTTEST I have even been in my lifetime. It was 45 in the van at one stage but we were not in it. Watching cricket/tennis in friend's home.
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.

Well it looks like a nice day here in Murray Bridge. Jumper on this morning and cloudy........ shouldn't be too hot.
You can see why so many from down South go North for the winter & head down South to the beaches for summer.
Drink heaps & stay out of that heat folks!!

That sort of hot along with the humidity is not my idea of fun, the humidity is the killer I reckon. I've worked for days on end where the temp in the tin workshop climbed into the low 50's but it was much dryer heat. Working on the rail with the blue stone ballast got mighty hot as well, had to carry the tools in a bucket of water and didn't dare lay anything down on the ballast because it was too hot to pick up again. All of that was in NSW, no idea how anyone would cope with doing the same thing in Qld outback in mid summer..... I guess they do it at night under flood lights
