Body side Molding

Post by cedtrains »

Has anyone got any idea where I could get, preferrably, an aluminium external cove molding hopfully with a "T" on the inside. Hard to explain but similar to (-
It is to go between the existing body and the panels where the windows were in a coaster. It is just a trim piece and neatens up the join.
Hope this makes sense.
As it involves freight and damage I would prefer Brisbane. I am looking for a 5 and a 6m length in total or I could butt join. Bunnings have these in aluminium but the "T" would make for better fitting and rigidity.
Regards
Rob

https://uesint.com/ If such a thing exists in Aust, they stock it and either had it manufactured or imported it. I believe they have become much more on line friendly and are happy to deal with small order customers, amazing what an industrial down turn can do
Also, Custom Coaches have a huge range of stuff in their store or they have the contacts to get it for you. Both companies are Syd based but freight any where doesn't seem to be an issue for them.

Thanks to all for replying.
Norman, is that ali or plastic, looks promising.
I have been back to Bunnings and Masters and they have a 28mm ali cove section but without the "T". Rang some of the links as well. Still looking but the Bunnings one may have to do.
Once again thanks.
