Only in the Land of Oz ……
are you ever likely to witness something like this!
The crazy bird is an Australian Magpie and the dog looks like a domestic Jack Russell.

We have a very wild ginger tom and a magpie that play a similar game up and down our street. The cat lays down and flicks the end of his tail, the magpie has to try and bite the tail before the cat grabs it. If the cat wins it holds the bird in tight and does a full belly roll, then lets the magpie go. The cat then walk slowly up the road with the tail straight up and the end flicking and the magpie tries swopop attacks till it gets the tail. The the cat rolls up in a ball and the game starts from the beginning.
If a car comes past, they seperate to apposites footpaths and when the coast is clear, the game resumes. When the bird is tired of the game it flies away but the cat gets chased if it tries to quite the game early
