Have decided to go back to 2012 & do a blog on our trip up the Cape. We took 3 weeks but another week would have been good.

That's great Kay. I worked up there about 15 years ago. Brought back a few memories. The roads certainly look better, but then they couldn't have gotten much worse.

Yes, thankyou Kay & Bruce for 'taking me there' as I'm quite sure I won't ever get to see that area myself.
What a lovely lot of memories you must both have.
It's unfortunate that a lot don't see it the same as yourselves when viewing photos & videos.
My friend spent 10 years sailing around the world & across Europe (Danube?), but when he held a show & tell night with donations to anti-cancer, only a few turned up.
Most couldn't care less.

Great diary of your travels, really enjoyed looking at it.

Sadly it is a fact not many people are interested in looking at your photos when you arrive home, look at a few & they have seen enough, our eldest g'son always has a good look at our travels.

We have a computer running in slide show all the time if visitors wish to watch they can , some do when they see something of interest.
Carol also has our pics printed and put in albums.
They are the kids inheritance.

We find we get a great response to our Blog, not necessarily comments but we can look at the stats of visitors and where they found the blog address. Nothing happening at the moment as we have been doing some maintenance on it but once we get over this move, we will get back to it.

Kay what does this "RV" stand for that I see all the time?
Usually means Recreational Vehicle but in Qld it seems to refer to a park or something?
