Jayco 5th wheeler recall
Jayco has recalled a number of 5th wheelers

Chassis Numbers Between R20005 & S20033

The gas bottle storage compartment may not be correctly sealed.

In the worst case scenario, if a gas bottle were to leak it may enter the cabin and pose a fire or suffocation hazard to the occupants.

Contact your dealer and arrange for inspection and rectification, if required.   Peter.

I had no idea they had even ventured into 5th wheelers, haven't seen one yet. That "mistake "could have been down right nasty to say the least.

Odds on it's a quality control issue rather than a design fault. Sadly the Jayco inspection method, in their haste to get things out the door, is to leave it for the dealer/customer to sort out - that is in my own experience, anyway.

Hi all, I have the afore mentioned and sadly have to agree with SteveW on quality control< I have a couple of issues besides the possible gas problem.

Experience is a wonderful thing. It helps you recognise a mistake when repeated.
