What are the defects?
The gas control valve may be misaligned and the valve may stick open.
What are the hazards?
If the defect is present there is a risk of gas building up into the appliance when not lit and this may lead to a possible explosion within the oven.

What should consumers do?
Cease using the oven. Turn the gas off at the bottle or turn off the isolation valve for the oven. The isolation valve is found under the van near the oven.
