You're in luck - am I?

Post by TheBushRat »

G'day,

Is this the kind of place that I'll feel comfortable in? Are there any GOBs?

G'day,

Wow, I can't believe it! Looks like a half decent forum (finally) with some good folk - but as moderators??? :o

I'm camped at Lake Gairdner in Tasmania - fabulous spot, no facilities, green grassed area, next to the lake with the Iris River bubbling only 20 metres away. Platypus come out at dusk and entertain us with their hunting. Also quite remote, so not many campers here.

At the moment, it's cold (4 last night) with a fair bit of rain - but should be ok soon and besides, I hate anything over 30.

I have a feeling that with the mods here, I might get told off for being too "straight"...

Looking forward to meeting more of "our" kind in here.

G'day Terry,

I gave Max a kiss for ya!

At this stage, am still coming to Whitfield. Looking forward to meeting some of these characters in the flesh.

I PMd you Terry with Bill's email.

Loving it down here in Tassie - have only moved 50+ klms since landing a week ago. Reckon I'll be in Tassie till around mid-March, then off to Whitfield after a squiz around Melbourne.
