"tanks" is home for a while

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

"tanks" is home for a while

Post by Keith Morris »

"tanks" here---
Home at Wyalkatchem again at last. I drove to Wylie to deliver two rooftop evap air-conditioners for House 39 & House 41.

On the way up from Perth I had a B-Double Wheat Truck shower me with gravel from the side of the road. One of the 2 m x 1 m tinted side windows shattered into a million fragments. Novus Windscreens did'nt want to know me--likewise several other outlets that I phoned would not undertake the work. I have had an extra 2 weeks in Perth waiting for a new window.

I finally had Windscreens O'Brien (Coach/Bus/Truck section) replace the window and I can recommend the work and the courtesy extended to me. Our good friends at KEN TAME came good with the Insurance claim
The $100 excess was paid and Ken Tame picked up the balance. [some several hundred dollars]
Again, thank you KEN TAME !!!

I'm now thinking about the NEXT TRIP to SOMEWHERE -----any suggestions from the Forum Members will be considered. I am considering ALBANY for the ANZAC DEPARTURE in November, however I think that with the thousands of people attending the functions the parking may be a problem and the free camp spots [if any] will be full .
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
