VAST upgrade

Me Mate's VAST Box (UEC) went into upgrade mode last night while in use and when upgrade process finished it rebooted and they lost the commercial channels (ABC and SBS still working). It still wasn't working this morning!

Any one else having problems

Done that, checked zone(skew) as well, its an Allden Autosat system and have not had any problems like this today!

There was an upgrade for the Altech DSR4639 a couple of weeks ago so I assume that that is the model he has.
I haven't heard of any other problems with the upgrade.

I don't have that model so I can't help much.

Is he a traveler? If so the 6 months rego might have expired.
It is unlikely to be the dish if he is able to view ABC and SBS. Are the other channels listed and what message does he get when selecting them?

Thanks, it's a Altech UEC first model. We're trying everything at the moment so will keep in touch.
