antenna switch?

Post by BruceS »

I wonder if anyone here can point me in the right direction to find a switch that will work for "F" type connections.
I need one that has ability to switch between 2 inlets (TV antenna & Satellite).
Ideally it would be solenoid operated or electrical changeover.
I'm intending to mount both the sat dish & the TV antenna on a rotating 'table' that can be turned through 359 degrees. Forward & reverse.
I'm not worried about the sat dish elevation as my boat is never going up or down hill.........
At present I do it manually with a pair of spanners. (switching between inputs)
I can find plenty of splitters........... one in & many out.

Bruce, Have a look here> http://www.kyes.com/antenna/stackluge.html
If that isn't what you are trying to do, then ask Mr Google about 'stacking antennas'
Cheers
