Country & Western Festival, Gwandalan ,NSW.

This Sunday Country & Western Day on the foreshore in front of Gwandalan Bowling Club starts early with Poets' Breakfast then country & western music all day followed by more music in the club starting at 8PM, hoping to make this an annual event.

No way I'm afraid I have no tune at all, enjoy country & western music.

They will be cooking a barbie breakfast, guess they will keep the barbie on during the day.
The club have new folk in the restaurant I have been told that the meals are very good yet to try one.

I was at Tamworth 4 years ago and got talking to a number of caravaners who spend their life following country music festivals. I decided to do a search to see how many they could attend during a year. 146 C&W Festivals was the number I was able to find listed on various web sites! And then there are the jazz festivals, folk festivals, etc., etc.

But nothing will ever come close to the Sunbury festival in the 60's,, puff puff grunt grunt and then there was the mud slides but I only did the mud slides.
