Which Satellite

Post by Chuck »

Our roof mounted satellite got the hiccups towards the end of our last trip - last year - & we couldn't get the dish to lock on.

Have since had some work done to the van which included getting as EPDM rubber type membrane on the roof to seal it. This required the removal of solar panels & the satellite dish... where they noticed a broken wire to the control panel inside the van... hence the problems last year.

Quickly tried to set up today but couldn't recall which satellite is being used... is it Optus C1 or has that changed as I thought I heard someone talking about them changing?

Any thoughts more than welcome..... :?

Don't forget to set the correct zone as well..

c1 and D3 are in the same spot and when my Alden system was last upgraded they told me to point it to D3!

Nah... still haven't managed to get into a location where I'm not half surrounded by trees blocking the satellite... & on power.

Will bear in mind the C1/D3 info when the opportunity arrives... will try the reset button then also.
