Free data today on Telstra?

Sunday the 14th of Feb 2016.
Because of the downtime on Tuesday Telstra advised me via email that starting Mid night Sat till Mid night Sun all data will be free.
There was no explaination exactly what "data" is/was.
I am sure it covers all 3G, 4G devices including internet & phone.

I'm presently downloading Window 10 to burn to a DVD .............

Whether you’re on a personal or business, pre-paid or post-paid mobile, tablet or mobile broadband plan, you will automatically receive free data, from ​midnight ​to ​midnight in your local Australian time zone ​Sunday ​14 ​February ​2016.

We hope this helps make up for some of the inconvenience you experienced.

Yes Bernie does have a mobile Internet device but maybe he hasn't set up his account online to receive online accounts & has his email address?

Only for Testra customers, not BigPond I believe. I want to know where/how I can down load season 5 of Game of thrones so I can copy it to the hard drive and watch it when I want, anyone have any ideas?

Got 5 or 6 seasons - forget now - on an external hard drive, grandson did it for me, will email the hard drive to you shortly & you can copy them.

My bill comes from Telstra Terry . they own bigpond .
Dunno what your talking about Bruce we receive a paper bill much to their annoyance .

Dot the 'timezone' comment was simply to tell you when it starts & stops........... Midnight in your timezone.

On another subject .......
Today I noticed that Wendy's Telstra Post Paid mobile phone plan had/has changed as of the new year.
It was $20 a month with nothing free ....... we just used it as a standby phone.
Now it is $20 a month with all calls, txt's, MMS, data free .............
(Still trying to get her phone separated from the side of her head!! Think it might need an operation to separate them!!)
