Finally put a face to Bernie & his good wife this morning at Ban Ban Springs (QLD) They drove over from Degilbo to meet us on our way sth for a coffee- 2hours later we took off for Murgon.
A 5th wheeler heading nth pulled into the servo (opposite side of road) & a van immediately behind him did the same but they had both pulled wide off their side of the road to turn straight into the servo drive way. Couple here were in the servo & saw the lot as well as got on dashcam. The 5th wheeler got over the road then the driver with the van behind him did not even check that there was anything coming up the highway- a semi had to hit his brakes & nearly wiped the back of the van out as the van was in the middle of the road!
There could have been a fatality at the servo at Ban Ban this morning. WE got here at Murgon & pulled into a couple from last night at Mundubbera & they asked us if we had heard the semi hit the brakes & his horn, which we had done but were not sure what had happened.A Face to a name

Could not believe that I had 2 flat camera batteries! Ugh, hence my camera sitting on the table. At least we had someone to take the photo! Sorry I was out of normal coffee & you had to have one of my white ones.

Wow Bernie, you could be "Oh My God Michael"s (from the lithium forum) twin brother.... although the half bottle of Warrabilla Durif could have effected my vision a tad
I see the camera shutter wasn't fast enough to catch Kay with her mouth closed
