Cosy Corner WA

Post by Peter »

Cosy corner is a quiet spot about 30 km from Albany in WA. Part of the Bibbulum track passes this spot and is an enjoyable walk the track is about 900 km in length from Albany to Perth. I have walked about 45 km of various sections of the track. . From the beach at Cosy Corner you look back at Albany and see the wind farm. Camping is allowed for 7 days. We have camped here on 3 seperate occasions and it is peaceful and relaxing. There are toilets available and no other facilities other than a small shop about 4 km away. This site is in Camps Australia Wide.

Peter, we visited there about a month after the Kal CMCA Rally, and there was a dump point also, but you have to provide your own water for cassette wash out from memory.

Great place, protected from any wind and we climbed the large sand hill adjacent. Dunno about the fishing? but was nearly chockers when we were there, only about 16 sites, one van over nighter on the track/road along from the toilets waiting for someone to leave the next morning.
