Fridge freezing

Our Dometic RM4605 3 way automatic energy selection fridge is freezing certain things in the fridge part ie tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, down in the crisper, on the top shelf next to the cooling fins, and also the cans of drinks in the top of the door. The freezer part is not doing anything unusual.. Have turned the thermostat down to half way but the fridge is still freezing stuff. Happening on both gas and 240.. any suggestions??

DOes it have a fan inside to circulate the cool air?

Not that I can see Jon, just those fins at the back directly under the freezer. G put a couple of little fans at the back of the fridge. He is outside talking at the mo so shall wait till he finishes gossiping

We have a similar problem sometimes with our upstairs one, a 120 ltr whirlpool fridge freezer.
I have a couple of ELV fans probably 12 v so might give that a go. Wires ? Poke a hole through the door seal ?

Yeah, small computer fan would do the job.
Cable tie it under a shelf and run the wires down through the defrost drain tube.
If you feel the need, a small speed controller could be fitted in line.

Wires can also be fed up through the drain hose or maybe even connected to the light, just make sure there is power to the fan with the door light switch pushed in.

Why not follow the thermostat wiring?

googled the fridge model etc but the wiring diagram was too small to read even when enlarged plus there was no explanation to what the #'s were. Have sent an email to dometic :lol: :lol: :lol: might get a reply.
