Youcamp, anyone use ?

Post by Busman »

I am wondering if anyone here has used Youcamp ?
We have a weekend off from training next one and am thinking it would be nice to stretch it to 4 days, maybe around Gympie, Maryborough area, somewhere in there. Youcamp seems to have a few possibilities, though I am concerned about access and ground hardness, they don't seem to be big on what can fit on these properties.
Or any other suggestions ?
Can't wait until 20 th next month to end with the training, need a small fix now.

No Lance, they keep that kosher until you book, I have suggested to the business owners that they add something in the listing about suitability for size of rigs but didn't bother to reply so I think I might have to scratch this one off.

"tanks" here---
Check out Standown Park on the net. It is between Gympie and Maryborough. Photos and words on the website.
Full facilities avail at a small cost.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Spoke to them but they think their ground might be a bit wet for 20 tonnes, similar problem at most Maryborough sites, only place I can find with guaranteed hard ground is that racetrack at Torbanlea I think it's called. Had a lot of rain here over last couple of months. Can't mow the easment at home for the first time, the zero turn mover just slides sideways down the hill.

Starting to sound as though you may need a little TearDrop camper for the wet-season trips Bill :D

Naw, if you had been up this way since we sold the farm you would know what I mean.
I am probably being over anxious but there is no way I am looking to dig VP out.
Stripes guy starts tomorrow, will see how it all ends up.
I can roll backwards and forwards on the farm with little ground marking, turning comes a bit difficult though.
